The garden of illusions

"... all the artist's illusions and the ones also pertaining to us who dwell in a garden, the garden of life."

Bel Mª Galmés, art critic

"The garden of illusions resembles the story of our own experiences, conveyed by the thickness of the textures upon entirely monochromatic surfaces, which express the gut feeling found in the act of painting."

Gudi Moragues, art critic

"The artist has created an immense pictorial universe on his canvases. Upon them he works out his abstraction in a meticulous and well conceived manner by applying layers and layers of paint. There are colours which shine on their own going from the palest shade of ochre to the darkest one. The artist makes use of the different blue shades to create a small set of canvases that recall the sea the Mediterranean Sea to be more precise."

María José Corominas, art critic
